my name is Protey Temen, i am a Moscow based artist making abstract pieces for the last years. the reason i writing you is your book of abstract comics. i've found it in some comic shop in Berlin this january and that was the most exciting thing about imagery for this winter i had. right after i came back to Moscow, i was invited to make some workshop. haven't spent a hours to invent an idea - your book become a base for this meeting. now i want to share the result with you, hope you would enjoy it. looking forward to hear what do you think about that.
"Andrei Molotiu's comics are absolute marvels: hotbeds of evolving ambiguity where one never knows what disturbing or witty interaction between abstraction of objects and objects of abstraction is about to take place. Each time I've opened them I've been utterly absorbed, that is, drawn into places where I had no power other than to become what I was looking at. What he does is superb." --Harry Mathews
"I love artists that break the rules and Andrei Molotiu breaks them all, with mind-bending and beautiful results." --Scott McCloud
