A color page

Just something I've been toying with...

Queensland, Australia

The mini

This is the mini I mentioned a couple of weeks ago. I printed the covers in a variety of color schemes (back cover at the top of the photo, front cover at the bottom. The title, as you can see, is asemic):

At MoCCA I gave away or traded all the copies I had brought with me. It's a limited edition of 50. I will finish printing the run this weekend. After I send their copies to the ten people who wrote me (following my previous post on this subject), and after a few more reserved for friends, I figure I will have exactly four copies left--which I fully intend to sell for an exorbitant amount of money.

Chad and the Sudan

Ok, admittedly this one has less to do with geography than with how a composite satellite view is put together... but still. It's beautiful.

South Dakota

I love the way those lakes cut across the grid of farmland--farmland whose plots of land are already establishing their own graphic rhythms. It's as if some of my blots invaded a page by Greg Shaw:

Thank you, Google Earth!

New mini!

I just finished an eight-page mini that, just to be contrary, I will not be posting anywhere online. I'm also interested in hearing from whoever might be checking this blog from time to time. I'll send a free copy to the first ten folks I hear from (via email, not comments)--but if you want to send me your own book in trade, that's cool too. You can find my email address in my profile, btw.

You can also try to get a copy from me at MoCCA, this weekend. I won't have a table, I'll just be wandering around. If you don't know what I look like, you can ask the people at the Blurred Books table (A 12) whether I'm around or not. And, oh yeah, I also have an eight-pager in "Blurred Vision 4," which will be debuting at MoCCA.
